Although McGivern had been recommended by an acquaintance, I was sill nervous about buying a diamond online. I emailed a few questions and was quickly impressed by the fast reply and good customer service. After a few emails back and fourth I purchased a ring which I then decided to exchange. (The ring appraised for 30% more than the purchased price). I spoke to Mike McGivern and he was very helpful with the exchange process. Diamond was a disappointment due to EGL International certificate. Its 3 color grade lower then GIA. As a diamond seller they should have explained it properly to consumers. They did mention about it on the web but not specific. I thought I was getting EGL USA (which probably 1 color grade down from EGL) I could have returned it but I didn't have the time. Customer service was really
good, delivery was quick.
